Bilbao, Spain (PortSEurope) September 13, 2017 – Bilbao port authority (Autoridad Portuaria de Bilbao) has given the green light to the modification of the concession of Progeco Bilbao for the operation of a land plot at the harbour as a logistics complex for containerised cargo.
The project will involve the construction of a warehouse on an area of approximately of 6,500 sq m in the zone of Santurtzi. The decision is in line with the strategic roadmap of Progeco Bilbao destined for the optimisation of the activities of the company and the improvement of the quality of its services.
Progeco Bilbao has recently started the operation of an innovative container storage complex covering 14,000 sq m. The company also plans to expand the steel and project cargo storage hangar at Bilbao port.
Established since 1985, Progeco Bilbao offers a specialised and professional service to clients within the industrial and commercial scope, meeting any needs related to containers, storage and transport.
The capacity of container depots and warehouses, their closeness to the port and their access points make an ideal storage and distribution platform for all types of goods.
