Kumport is located on the European side of Istanbul, 22 miles west of the Bosphorus entrance. In 2015, CMHI, Cosco and CIC, consisting of a tripartite consortium, purchased the majority shares of Kumport Port Services. Kumport Liman Hizmetleri ve Lojistik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş is the operator of Kumport.
