Genoa, Italy (PortSEurope) May 15, 2018 – Intermed Gateways has organised a seminar on “The Mediterranean Sea: where Asia, Africa and Europe meet along the Maritime Silk Road“ at the Transport Logistic Shanghai event on 18 May, 2018.
Attending the event will be: Paolo Emilio Signorini, President Intermed Gateways Ports; Santiago Garcia Mila, President International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH); Hércules Haralambides, Professor Erasmus University Rotterdam and Shanghai Maritime University; Christine Cabau Woehrel, CEO, Grand Port Maritime Marseille; Songbing Ding, General Manager Strategy and Research, Shanghai International Port Group Co., Ltd; Qi Wu, Senior Managing Director and Vice-President Accenture.
Intermed, founded in 1998, is an association currently comprising the ports of Barcelona, Marseilles and Genoa.
The objective of Intermed is to highlight the potential of the Mediterranean ports and create a competitive environment for clients and enhance the quality of the service they receive. The cooperation between the ports of Barcelona, Marseilles and Genoa will make it possible to develop common interface standards with a view to optimising resources, thus generating cost savings for shared customers.
