Palermo, Italy (PortSEurope) September 20, 2017 – Palermo port will host the seventh edition of Italian Cruise Day, an annual forum of the cruise industry, on October 6.
This year, the forum will be organised in cooperation with the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the Authority of the Western Sicilian Sea Port System (Autorità di sistema portuale del mare di Sicilia Occidentale).
More than 250 participants from entire Italy are expected at the event to doscuss the prospectives, dynamics and processes of the sector in Italy.
The cruise traffic in Italy is expected to decline by 7.8% to 10.2 million passengers in 2017. The number of cruise calls, in turn, are seen to decline by 11.3% to 4,400.
