Novorossiysk, Russia(PortSEurope) January 9, 2017 – Novorossiysk port saw oil traffic at its Caspian Pipeline Consortium (KTK) terminal rise by 3.6% on the year to 44.3 million tonnes in 2016.
In December alone, the total export of oil from the KTK terminal went up by 11.38% to 4.52 million tonnes.
The terminal is operated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium which is in charge of transporting oil from Tengiz field in Kazakhstan to Novorossiysk. The Russian and Kazakhstani governments own 31% and 20.75% stakes in the consortium, respectively.
