Istanbul, Turkey (PortSEurope) March 30, 2017 – Yusen Logistics Turkey (YLTR), the Turkish subsidiary of Japanese logistics group Yusen Logistics, has merged with Inci Lojistik (IL), a subsidiary of Turkish Inci Holding group. The new company, which was named Yusen Inci Lojistik ve Ticaret A.S., will be 60%-owned by Yusen Logistics Europe BV and 40% by Inci Holding. Yusen Inci Lojistik, which will have nearly 200 employees, will start its operations on April 1 and will be directed by Hakan Meric, outgoing Managing Director of Yusen Logistics Turkey.
The headquarters of Yusen Inci Lojistik will be in Istanbul and the new company will offer a full range of logistics services, both domestic and international for import and export. In addition, the company will have offices in Istanbul, Izmir, Manisa, Bursa and Ankara, with warehouses of 30,000 sq m in Izmir and Manisa, with the possibility of controlled temperature and customs warehouses. The group will also offer a variety of value-added services such as sorting, assembly, packaging, a power supply of the production lines, packaging, labelling, rework and quality control. On the distribution front, Yusen Inci Lojistik offers personalised domestic transport and dedicated solutions.
