This electronic platform is already used by more than 750 companies and offers twelve services
Other news is the creation of an Innovation and Research Hub to boost the future contest of the State Ports 4.0 Fund. With this centre, the Port Authority wants to contribute to promoting a climate of innovation in the Port, and encourages companies and start-ups in the environment to identify ideas and projects for this first call.
For their part, port companies are automating their terminals and, among them, the automation of the access doors to the container terminal managed by CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal stands out. This project involves a more efficient management of the reception and delivery of containers, reducing waiting times for trucks up to 40%.
