
56th Plenary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) at the Greek Parliament

Athens, 24 November 2020 56th Plenary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) at the Hellenic Parliament The 56th Plenary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC https://www.pabsec.org/) is taking place via teleconference today, with the participation of parliamentary representatives from member states of this regional organization. The work of the Assembly kicked off with a meeting of
the Assembly’s Bureau, chaired by the President of the Hellenic Parliament, and Chairman-in-Office of PABSEC for the current semester, Mr. Constantine Tassoulas. Parliamentary delegations from the following member states participate in the Assembly: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine. The Hellenic Parliament is participating with a six-member delegation, Head of which is Mr. Simos Kedikoglou. The members of the delegation are: Mrs. Sofia Voultepsi, Mr. Makarios Lazaridis, Mr. Christos Giannoulis, Mrs. Olympia Teliyioridou and Mrs. Hara Kefalidou. The objective of the PABSEC is to establish the necessary legal framework for economic, commercial, social and political cooperation between member states and for the implementation of decisions taken by Heads of State and Foreign Ministers, as well as to strengthen cooperation with other international and regional organizations.
