Livorno, Italy (PortSEurope) November 13, 2019 – Stefano Corsini, the President of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale (AdSP – North Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority), has attended the Qatar Silk Road Exhibition 2019, the first edition of the Qatari international exhibition in the logistics sector. This was organized by ICE in collaboration with Invitalia. The fair took place November 3-5, 2019, at the exhibition
center DECC – Doha Exhibition & Convention Center. The Italian participation brings together Assoporti and UIR, the associations representing the main Italian ports and ports. On the first day of the initiative, Corsini met with several local players in the logistics sector interested in the opportunities offered by the Alto Tyrrhenian ports system, also in light of the infrastructure projects being defined in Livorno and Piombino. “Qatar”, said Corsini, “has many forecasts of commercial and productive development, but above all it has an instinctive link with Italy. What we are participating in is the first annual fair on maritime transport and logistics in the country, and the collaboration with ICE and Invitalia has allowed us to present the country’s strengths in the best possible way. I am honored to be able to participate in an event of this breath, representing, with my colleague Musolino, of the Italian system “.
