Algeciras, Spain (PortSEurope) June 25, 2019 – Algeciras port authority has launched a pedestrian crossing with the new pavement that connects the central access Paco de Lucía with the passenger terminal of the port.
The project, covering an area of more than 13,000 square metres, provides a greater surface area for pedestrians heading to the maritime station, as well as a better channeling of the vehicles that embark towards Ceuta.
The port authority invested about €1.5 million ($1.7 million) in the works, carried out by Spanish company Ferrovial Agroman.
