Almería, Spain (PortSEurope) June 24, 2019 – Almería port has exceeded 10,200 passengers in the first week of Operation Paso del Estrecho (OPE) 2019 – between June 15 and 22 – 24.7% more than in the first week of the OPE last year.

Of this figure, 4,845 passengers correspond to inbound trips in the port, while 5,440 were travelers who embarked in the direction of North Africa. The day of greatest passenger traffic was on June 16, with more than 1,900 people.

Regarding the movement of vehicles, in the first week of the OPE, 2,682 вере recorded, 33.2% more than in the like period of last year. Of this traffic of vehicles, 1,229 entered the port, and 1,453 left it. The day of greatest movement of vehicles was June 17, with 468.
