
Alsancak port restart Ro-Ro operations

Izmir, Turkey (PortSEurope) November 28, 2020 – The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has approved an application for the port of Alsancak (Izmir) to restart Ro-Ro services – an initiative to try and boost exports. Ro-Ro services were suspened in 2019 due to local transport problems. Approval applies to just wheeled vehicles and their cargo. In order to prevent interruption of urban traffic, vehicles serving
