Ancona, Italy (PortSEurope) July 16, 2017 – The Adriatic port of Ancona is experiencing growth in the super yacht business. The port is the location for one of the shipyards operated by Palumbo S.p.A. Palumbo Shipyard Ancona manages a new build division under the ISA Yachts brand. The yard has built up a considerable experience in major refit, repair maintenance and the conversion of vessels.
In the heart of a superyacht cluster and nearby container terminal, the shipyard is able to accommodate all types and dimensions of vessels. ISA has delivered 32 luxury megayachts (between 36 to 66 m) from its Ancona-based shipyard. The yard currently awaits the hull of the new Columbus 80m superyacht which is being built in Naples, and in Ancona will receive its pre-fabricated aluminium superstructure by the end of July 2017. Palumbo operates shipyards Ancona, Malta, Marseille, Messina, Naples and Tenerife. Source: Superyachtnews Copyright (c) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2017.
