Ancona port to free up “Incompiuta” space fro development

Ancona, Italy (PortSEurope) June 22, 2018 – Rodolfo Giampieri, president of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico (AdSP – Central Adriatic Sea Port Authority), has worked with Agenzia del Demanio to agree the demolition of an obsolete structure on the Marche dock, known as “Incompiuta”.

The situation has been blocked for over 25 years and comprises structures in the customs area which were never finished due to changing operational conditions.

A contract worth €531,600 ($617,353) will fund the demolition and free up around 10,000 m² for port operators to utilise. A contract is expected to be signed this month and will last four months.
