APPA managing director visits Cadiz port

Cadiz, Spain (PortSEurope) June 16, 2018 –

The president of Autoridad Portuaria de la Bahía de Cádiz (APBC – Port Authority of Cadiz), José Luis Blanco Romero, together with the director of the port, Agustín Romero Gago, have received the managing director of Agencia Pública de Puertos de Andalucía (APPA – Public Ports Agency of Andalusia), Mariela Fernández Bermejo, in a visit to the port, in which she was accompanied by the territorial delegate of Development and Housing, Federico Fernández Ruiz-Henestrosa.

The meeting started at the headquarters of the APBC, followed by a boat tour of the port facilities, seeing from the sea the dock of Cádiz, Puerto América, the fishing pier of the capital, the new container terminal, Navantia Cádiz, La Cabezuela- Puerto Real and the dock of the Zona Franca, with the Elcano sports nautical club.

After finishing the tour by sea, the visit has been completed with a trip by land, where they have passed through the container terminal of the Reina Sofía dock, the ro-ro terminal of Trasmediterránea, the fish market of Cádiz and, finally, the pier of The Cabezuela-Puerto Real.
