Barcelona, Spain (PortSEurope) November 13, 2017 – Entrepreneurs from the port community of Barcelona have arrived in Argentina in an effort to intensify the trade between both sides of the Atlantic.

The Barcelona delegation arrived in Buenos Aires and is ready to begin, on November 13, contacts with logistic companies, importers and exporters to promote business opportunities that reinforce the role of the Catalan capital as a logistics hub for the commercial exchanges between Europe and South America.

In the welcome ceremony to Argentina of the delegation, both Javier Vidal, vice president of the governing council of the logistics community of Barcelona, as Hugo Letjman, representative of the community in Argentina, and Horacio Babini, director of the Centre for Business Promotion (CPN) of Acció in Buenos Aires, coincided in pointing out the interesting opportunity represented by this trip to strengthen relations between Spain and the South American country.

The delegation plans to carry out a presentation of the logistics services offered by Catalonia and start bilateral contacts between Catalan and Argentine businessmen.
