Barcelona port operates first call of HDASCO ship as part of Mediterranean service

Barcelona, Spain (PortSEurope) January 27, 2017 – Iranian shipping company Hafez Darya Arya (HDAS Co), belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL Group), has said that its regular container service linking the Mediterranean region with the Middle East is operating smoothly. The “Azargoun” ship, which covers the service, including calls in Hamburg and Antwerp, made its first arrival at Barcelona port on
January 26 and received a plaque commemorating the event. HDASCO’s service links bimonthly the ports of Barcelona, Valencia and Genoa with Bandar Abbas, offering additional transport to the rest of Iran’s commercial ports (Bushehr, Khorramshahr, B.
