Bari, Italy (PortSEurope) November 28, 2018 – Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Meridionale (AdSP – Southern Adriatic Sea Port Authority) has activated the internal “whistleblowing” service, a system identified by Anac for reporting illegal conduct.

It is an operational tool aimed at protecting the activities of the authority, in order to identify and report possible illegal actions to the National Anti Corruption Authority.

The service is addressed to the whistleblower, intended as a public employee who spontaneously decides to report violations, whether they are past, present or future, of general interest and not of individual interest, of which he became aware on the basis of the employment relationship.

The service is based on the open source platform Globaleaks, and allows the user to manage in total security and in accordance with the regulations, the reports received from employees of the institution, which must be confidentiality.
