
Bulgaria to start large-scale overhaul of coastal radar systems
Varna, Bulgaria (PortSEurope) August 6, 2018 – A large-scale renovation of the radar equipment on the Bulgarian coast is planned by state-owned company Port Infrastructure. The project will provide increased reliability and redevelopment of radar stations that have been installed more than 10 years ago. Besides being repaired, some of the equipment will be replaced with brand new radars. The project for renewal of the system
includes the radar stations Balchik 2, Trakata, Fichoza, Post 2, Beloslav 2, Pomorie, Rosenets (Oil Port) and the renovation of the radio channels Kaliakra, Emine, Pomorie, Goritsa, Kitka peak and Kichevo. Source: Maritime.bg Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2018.
