Bulgarian ports see little cruise business due to regional instability

Burgas, Bulgaria (PortSEurope) May 15, 2018 – The Black Sea ports of Varna and Bourgas will see no cruise ships dock in summer 2018, a result of cruise liners’ concern about instability in the region. 2014 was a record year for the ports with both ports receiving around 40 passenger shops and 25,000 passengers each. Varna expects no ship visits this year which is damaging for the local economy.
