Cádiz, Spain (PortSEurope) April 13, 2018 – Cádiz will handle 85 cruise ship calls in its docks during the months of April and May, being, next to October, the months where more cruise ships and tourists will arrive in the town.
In April there will be a total of 43 cruises that will arrive to Cádiz, the month with the highest number of calls in 2018. In addition, during three days of the month — 16, 22 and 27 — there will be up to four cruise ships in the port.
Four cruise ships will make a call in the port of Cádiz for the first time, two of them owned by the company Intercruises, one by the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and one by Pérez y Cía. In addition, the largest of the ships, the ‘Norwegian Epic’, with 329 metres in length, will arrive on April 18.
On the other hand, in May, a total of 42 cruise will be handled in the port of Cádiz, being the day 7 the largest influx with five calls, including the ‘Queen Mary 2’, coming from Barcelona and bound for Southampton.
