Cádiz, Spain (PortSEurope) January 5, 2018 – Cádiz port authority (Autoridad Portuaria de la Bahía de Cádiz) president José Luis Blanco Romero has said he expects the container traffic of the harbour to be moved to the new terminal in 2020.
Until 2020, the terminal will be used for other purposes, Romero said.
After the port authority awarded a contract for the operation of the terminal to Compañía Gaditana de Contenedores S.L. (Concasa), Romero recalled that the terminal will be launched after the construction of a Border Inspection Post (BIP), a railway access and pavement of the dock is completed.
