Cartagena, Spain (PortSEurope) February 12, 2019 – Cartagena port is among the five finalists for the prize for the most proactive development of liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructures in the Mediterranean Sea, which are delivered in Milan during the ‘Small-Scale LNG Summit’.
Autoridad Portuaria de Cartagena (APC – Port Authority of Cartagena)a has indicated that the awards recognize the greatest achievements in the LNG industry. Thus, distinctions are awarded to companies and individuals that have positively influenced the gas industry at each stage of the value chain.
The vote is done directly via the internet. The ports that are up for the award are Cartagena, Gibraltar, Valencia, Madeira and Huelva.
The awards ceremony, attended by the president of the Cartagena port authority, Joaquín Segado, will take place at the end of the summit on small-scale operations of LNG.
