Port activities linked to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Includes imports, storage and regasification facilities and considered a key activity in European Union (EU) energy transition. Currently, this is topical as the EU seeks to urgently diversify energy sources and eliminate energy imports from Russia. This is realised in the construction of a number of LNG terminals around the EU, including Italy and Germany.
