Funchal

Funchal is a port in the south of the island of Madeira. Madeira, an autonomous region of Portugal, is an archipelago comprising 4 islands off the northwest coast of Africa. The port is frequently used as a stop-over by transatlantic ships, en route from Europe to the Caribbean. It is managed by Portos da Madeira.
