China sends CCCME delegation to Porto

China Sends CCCME Delegation To Porto

Leixões, Portugal (PortSEurope) September 10, 2019 – A delegation from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) has visited the port of Leixões at the invitation of AICEP Portugal Global.

Counsellor Patrícia Conceição from AICEP accompanied all the activities of the delegation.

From September 5-8, 2019, CCCME President Zhang Yujing led the trade promotion delegation to visit Portugal and carried out a series of business activities in Porto area. The delegation is composed of representatives from engineering, power and energy, electrical appliances, household appliances, marine equipment and shipping industries.

The delegation visited West Sea Shipyard, EFACEC (mainly engaged in the production of medium and high voltage power equipment), Leixões Port Authority, INESC TEC of the University of Porto, Associação Empresarial de Portugal (AEP), and Associação dos Industriais Metalurgicos, Metalomecânicos e Afins de Portugal (AIMMAP).

West Sea is a shipyard located in Viana do Castelo, and is part of the Martifer Group; the company is the current sub-concessionary of the lands and infrastructures of the former ENVC – Estaleiros Navais de Viana do Castelo.

China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (hereinafter as CCCME), is an industrial and non-profit organization, formed jointly and voluntarily by various economic organisations engaged in manufacturing, import and export, overseas turnkey project contracting and other related activities in machinery and electronic industry.
