Cosco incorporates new tractors in its Valencia terminal

València, Spain (PortSEurope) February 2, 2021 – Cosco Shipping Ports Spain (CSP Spain) has announced the addition of 15 new tractor units to its terminal in the port of Valencia, CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal. This will increase production capacity at the terminal. The new machinery is part of CSP Spain’s investment plan that will reach €62 million ($74.9 million) in 2022. The model has been designed with
the local Alfaland and Terberg of Germany. “The new Terberg YT222 models maintain the latest standards in ergonomics, comfort and safety and environmental impact”, explained from Cosco. The units for the Valencian terminal in Terberg have also had a series of adaptations or customizations from Alfaland, the manufacturer’s distributor in Spain.
