Valencia, Spain (PortSEurope) June 18, 2019 – Cosco Shipping Lines Spain (CSLS) has joined the board of the Valenciaport Foundation, Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia (APV – Valenciaport, Port Authority of Valencia) has reported.
At an ordinary meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Valenciaport Foundation, the president of the foundation, Aurelio Martínez, welcomed the new member. In addition, the meeting approved the Activity Report and the Annual Accounts, as well as the Management Report for the 2018 fiscal year.
The general director of the Foundation, Antonio Torregrosa, and the representative of CSLS in the Board, Javier Cubas, have discussed the challenges of the new collaboration, focused on the promotion of innovation activities of the Valenciaport Foundation.
In April 2019, following its acquisition by Cosco Shipping Ports Limited in June 2017, Noatum Ports SLU was rebranded Cosco Shipping Ports (Spain) Terminals S.L.U. (CSP Spain).
The maritime terminals of the group located in Valencia (Noatum Container Terminal Valencia) and Bilbao (Noatum Container Terminal Bilbao) have been named CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal and CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal, respectively.
Its intermodal subsidiaries will change names from Noatum Rail Terminal Zaragoza and Noatum Rail Services to CSP Iberian Zaragoza Rail Terminal and CSP Iberian Rail Services.
