Barcelona, Spain (PortSEurope) February 12, 2019 – COSCO Shipping Lines (Spain) SA moved a total of 362,165 TEUs in Spain in 2018, an increase of 43.57% on the previous year.

Container imports by TEU increased 28.08% and exports by 3.54%.

COSCO Shipping Lines Spain recorded good results in the port of Barcelona, ​​with imported containers up 27% and exported units by 20%.

Containers moved through the rail services, both inbound and outbound, increased by 32% from 3,346 units in 2017 to 4,223 TEU last year.

COSCO Shipping Lines Spain operates from the local ports of Algeciras, Barcelona and Valencia.
