Piraeus, Greece (PortSEurope) November 29, 2019 – In October 2019, the overseas terminals of China’s COSCO Shipping Ports Limited saw container throughout increase by 12.1% to 2.428 million TEU, compared to 2.165 million TEU in the same period of 2018.

Individual European terminals throughput in October 2019:

  • Piraeus Container Terminal S.A. registered 460,700 TEU, compared to 399,000 in same period of 2018 (+15.5%).
  • Euromax Terminal Rotterdam B.V.; 226,900 TEU (275,100); -17.5%.
  • Suez Canal Container Terminal S.A.E.; 278,100 TEU (221,100); ++25.8%.
  • Antwerp Gateway NV; 178,100 TEU (188,400); -5.5%.
  • Kumport Liman Hizmetleri ve Lojistik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş; 116,000 TEU (100,900); +15%.
  • Reefer Terminal S.p.A.; 5,900 TEU (5,500); +6.5%.
  • COSCO Shipping Ports (Spain) Terminals S.L.U.*; 287,200 TEU (325,300); -11.7%.
  • CSP Zeebrugge Terminal NV; 54,400 TEU (25,600); +112.5%.
