Piraeus, Greece (PortSEurope) July 16, 2019 – In June 2019, the overseas terminals of China’s COSCO Shipping Ports Limited saw container throughout increase by 15.5% to 2.412 million TEU, compared to 2.087 million TEU in the same period of 2018.

Individual European terminals throughput in June 2019:

  • Piraeus Container Terminal S.A. registered 464,700 TEU, compared to 374,300 in same period of 2018 (+24.2%).
  • Euromax Terminal Rotterdam B.V.; 236,300 TEU (261,000); -9.5%.
  • Suez Canal Container Terminal S.A.E.; 274,300 TEU (205,800); +33.3%.
  • Antwerp Gateway NV; 180,900 TEU (195,300); -7.4%.
  • Kumport Liman Hizmetleri ve Lojistik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş; 112,900 TEU (122,500); -7.8%.
  • Reefer Terminal S.P.A.; 4,900 TEU (5,910); -17.2%.
  • COSCO Shipping Ports (Spain) Terminals S.L.U.*; 310,500 TEU (299,300); +3.8%.
  • CSP Zeebrugge Terminal NV; 45,600 TEU (21,400); +113.1%.
