COSCO Shipping to assist European exhibitors attended China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai

Hamburg, Germany (PortSEurope) October 11, 2019 – Sun Jun, President of COSCO Shipping (Europe) GmbH, has said that COSCO will provide a range of services for European exhibitors participating in the second edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, November 5-10, 2019. COSCO can provide European exhibitors with logistics services, including delivery, warehousing, packaging, customs clearance, ground transportation, sea and air transport. Sun
said that the company would provide a “one-stop service”. COSCO (China Ocean Shipping Corporation), one of the largest integrated shipping companies globally, is the only international transportation service provider recommended by the Expo. Since August this year, COSCO Shipping (Europe) GmbH has shipped a large number of products for the exhibition in Italy, France, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Sun added that the services provided by COSCO would help develop Chinese-European relations and the new Silk Road. The second edition of the CIIE will be held in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November, and more than 3,000 companies from some 150 countries and regions have registered for the exhibition. The exhibition organisers say, “The 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) (NECC (Shanghai)) from 5 to 10 November, 2019. As the world’s first national level import-themed expo, the first CIIE in 2018 made a huge impact, which was a full demonstration of the great achievements China has made in facilitating the great strategic plan for the “Belt and Road” initiative with an open and inclusive attitude in the new era. Built on the success of the first edition, the 2nd CIIE features further expanded exhibition scale and richer activities forms, in anticipation of achieving greater success”.
