COVID19: The Port of Algeciras, open and operational

Update – Autoridad Portuaria de la Bahía de Algeciras (APBA – Port Authority of Algeciras) – April 6, 2020 CONTAINER TERMINALS The Port of Algeciras maintains its operations for goods with the aim of contributing to the operation of the supply chain. Thus, the container terminals of the Port of Algeciras, APM Terminals Algeciras and TTI Algeciras, continue to operate and the railway service with Madrid
is operational. PASSENGERS The Algeciras-Tangier Med-Algeciras, Algeciras-Ceuta-Algeciras and Tarifa-Tangier City-Tarifa maritime passenger lines are suspended until further notice ( Order of the Ministry of Transport ) . Passengers resident in Ceuta who need to move, must request authorization from the Government Delegation in Ceuta ( More info ). TRUCKS and semi-trailers on the STRAIT lines The Algeciras-TANGIER MED-Algeciras and Algeciras-CEUTA-Algeciras shipping lines continue to operate for cargo (exclusively trucks and semi-trailers).
