Rijeka, Croatia (PortSEurope) November 10, 2019 – Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, Oleg Butkovic, has signed an agreement to finance the reconstruction project and strengthening of the ferry landing in the port of Zigljen, on the island of Pag.

The total value of the project is 73.4 million kunas (€10 million), of which €62.4 million will come from the European Union’s Cohesion Fund and around 11 million kuna from the state budget. Reconstruction and modernization of the port wharf will allow larger ships to be accommodated and docking even in the event of bad weather and sea conditions.
