Croatian financial watchdog approves buyout bid for shipbuilder Viktor Lenac

Rijeka, Croatia (PortSEurope) August 13, 2018 – Croatian financial watchdog HANFA has given the green light to the launch of a buyout bid for local shipbuilder Viktor Lenac by Italy’s Palumbo Group. The Italian company aims to acquire the 59.48% stake in Viktor Lenac that it does not own together with P&L Shiprepair Holding Limited S.p.A. Currently, Palumbo holds a 18.24% stake in Viktor Lenac, while P&L holds a 22.28% shareholding interest.
