Rijeka, Croatia (PortSEurope) November 21, 2018 – Croatian seaports handled a total of 17.9 million passengers in the third quarter of 2018, up 3.8% on the year.
Most passengers, 2.57 million, were serviced at Split port, an increase of 11.1 %, followed by the port of Dubrovnik, up 19.3% to 1.52 million passengers.
Rovinj port recorded the highest increase in the number of passengers, up 74.2% to 86,000, followed by Trogir, up 34.5% to 151,000.
The cargo traffic at Croatian ports rose by 1.8% to 5.6 million tonnes in the third quarter.
