Rijeka, Croatia (PortSEurope) November 26, 2018 – Trade union representatives of Croatian troubled shipbuilder 3. maj, part of Uljanik group, plan to meet the management of Italy’s Fincantieri on November 27.
“Tomorrow, representatives of the Metallurgical Union in Trieste will meet with colleagues and Fincantieri management,” the representative of the trade union, Juraj Šoljić, said.
The workforce of 3. maj have been striking for 36 days already, in order to protest against the poor financial situation at the company and demand unpaid salaries.
