
Czech ambassador visits Aktau port

Aktau, Kazakhstan (PortSEurope) September 25, 2020 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan Rudolf Gikl has visited the port of Aktau. The ambassador was learning about Mangystau province, of which Aktau is the capital. He was given an introductory tour of the port berths, told about production indicators and prospects for the future. The meeting was chaired by First Vice President
Nazban Mehta. Aktau Sea Port is located on the east coast of the Caspian Sea at the intersection of several international transport corridors, thereby providing the transportation of dry cargo, crude oil and oil products from east to west, from north to south and back in the direction of Iran, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
