The project of “Maritime Defense Works and Management of the Puddles Zone of the Valleseco Functional Area, phase 2” has an investment of €16.6 million, of which the Port Authority of Tenerife contributes €1.5 million ; the Cabildo of Tenerife, four; the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, €5.7 million, and the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, €5.4 million. The project execution period will be 24 months. The works that will begin to be executed in a maximum period of one month are divided into three groups of actions, specifically the Playa de Charcos, Pantalanes and Defensas Marítimas.
