Belgrade, Serbia (PortSEurope) June 10, 2020 – Dragon Maritime Group, an agent for COSCO Shipping Lines Co., handed over the donation to Serbia, as an expression of solidarity and support to the government’s efforts during the pandemic. The final shipment was delivered from Shanghai. The President of the Dragon Maritime Group, Erich Cossutta, and the General Manager of Dragon Maritime SEE, Vladimir Lekić, handed over
a donation of 100,000 protective masks and 700 protective overalls, which were received by the State Secretary Berislav Vekić, on behalf of the Ministry of Health and the Government of Serbia. He expressed his gratitude to the Dragon Maritime Group for the significant contribution in the fight against the pandemic for all citizens of Serbia and highlighted the importance of the help provided by the socially responsible Chinese companies to Serbia in these difficult times. Dragon Maritime Group will continue with similar actions in order to provide support to health institutions and all other institutions in Serbia. In addition to the donation to Serbia, a donation was also made to the Institute for Orthopedic Surgery “Banjica”, the Institute for Health Protection of Mother and Child of Serbia “Dr. Vukan Cupic” and the Anti-Corruption Agency.
