Constanta, Romania (PortSEurope) March 13, 2018 – Constanta Port Container Day will take place on March 22, 2018, in Cluj-Napoca. At the event, Mihai Petre, Senior Customs and International Trade Manager, Deloitte, will present at the event, discussing: What are the methods of fluidizing and increasing the certainty of customs operations in Romania? Financial and logistical benefits of Certification as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO); centralized clearance and enrollment in the
declarant’s records; the role of customs commissioners – the difference between direct and indirect representation. Attendees will have the opportunity to find out which export markets can be accessed and which are the newest services offered by Cosco Shipping, but also what are the facilities offered by Constanta Port, the development plans and investments in the modernization of the port infrastructure . Constanta Port Container Day is organized by the National Company Maritime Ports Administration SA Constanta and the Intermodal & Logistics magazine. The event opens the way for dialogue between port and customs authorities and business representatives in the west and the centre of Romania, discussing the services Constanta Port offers to companies in these areas, the challenges facing exporters and importers in increasing traffic goods to and from Constanta. Constanta Port Container Day will bring together over 150 representatives of port and customs authorities, shipping lines, port operators, transport and logistics companies, expedition houses, customs commissioners and representatives of manufacturing companies in various industries.
