Civitavecchia, Italy (PortSEurope) November 29, 2018 – Italy’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT) plans to carry out an inspection of Civitavecchia port, the president of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Centro-Settentrionale (AdSP – Centre-North Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority), Francesco Maria di Majo, said.
“The news of an inspection came yesterday, they were also made in other port authorities and they are carried out regularly every few years,” Di Majo noted.
The inspection has not started yet, and it is still unclear what it wants to ascertain, Di Majo said. “It covers all aspects of state property concessions and works and we will provide all data and information that the ministry will request”.
