Huelva, Spain (PortSEurope) June 17, 2019 – The first operation of bunkering of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from truck to ship in the port of Huelva took place on June 14 in the South Dock.
This is another step in the strategy of the port of Huelva to boost its positioning as a hub in the supply of LNG, which is also supported by the Enagas SA plant located in the port.
The offer of services is reinforced by the excellent location of Huelva port as a gateway to the Strait and a point of passage between Europe and West Africa, as well as on the Mediterranean routes with Latin America.
