Huelva, Spain (PortSEurope) December 1, 2020 – The Board of Directors of Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva (APH – Port Authority of Huelva) granted a total of 15 concession titles for the integration in the City of Seafood of those companies dedicated to the commercialization and export of fish that have requested it. There are several grant titles still pending, which will be reported at the
next council, to finally put out to public tender those spaces that remain free, including both ends of the building, as well as the canteen. Pilar Miranda, highlighted that the fish and seafood exporting concession companies will have a modern infrastructure, adapted to the needs of the sector, which will boost promotion and export capacity and sale of seafood. Also adding that, Huelva was a primary objective to make first-rate infrastructure available to entrepreneurs that open their exports to foreign markets. The port recently received the new City of Seafood, a project, which was carried out by the UTE Tecopsa – Construcciones y Ferrallas La Rábida, SL, and designed by the architectural studio LAR Arquitectura, with a budget of €6.4 million.
