Interporto Padova publishes improved 2020 results and traffic

Padua, Italy, (PortSEurope) May 4, 2021 – A shareholders’ meeting of Interporto Padova has unanimously approved the draft financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2020, which has an overall production value of €36.8 million, up by + 7.7% compared to €34.2 million in the previous year. EBIT was €5.7 million (€4.3 million) and net profit €2.3 million (€1.1 million). Last year, intermodal traffic
moved to the interport was equal to 360,580 TEU (+13.8%), with a total of 7,180 trains carried out to connect the Paduan logistic platform with the main national and European ports and interports: La Spezia , Genoa, Livorno, Trieste Capodistria, Bari, Catania, Rivalta Scrivia, Cologne (in Germany) and Geleen (in the Netherlands). The shareholders’ meeting also appointed the new board of directors and the board of statutory auditors who will remain in office until the approval of the financial statements for the 2023 financial year. The board of directors is composed of Franco Pasqualetti (chairman), Umberto Zampieri, Mario Liccardo, Katià Pizzocchero, Barbara Degani, Nicoletta Salvagnini, Ugo Campagnaro, Alberto Cecolin and Massimiliano Pellizzari. The board of statutory auditors is made up of Mariavittoria Cacace (chairman), Stefano Tosato and Antonio Magnan.
