
Italian ambassador to Greece visits Piraeus port

Piraeus, Greece (PortSEurope) September 24, 2020 – A delegation from the Embassy of Italy in Athens visited Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) yesterday. Led by the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Patricia Falcinelli, a meeting was held with the BoD Chairman of PPA S.A. Yu Zenggang and PPA Deputy CEO Capt. Weng Lin at the port headquarters. During the meeting, PPA representatives presented the history, development and
future plans of the port. Both parties discussed and exchanged views on topics of general interest related to port industry and transportation. The Ambassador had also a site visit at the port facilities and was informed about the operational conditions in the port and the achievements of COSCO’s investment.
