Italian shipping company Premuda’s managing director resigns

Genoa, Italy (PortSEurope) November 28, 2018 – Stefano Rosina will leave the position of managing director of Italian shipowning company Premuda SpA to concentrate on the launch of his new consultancy company Rosina and Partners. 

This was announced by Premuda and Pillarstone, a company headed by the US private equity firm KKR and which through PS Navi SpA holds the entire share capital of the shipping company.

Pillarstone acquired Premuda after the financial crisis of 2009 and the collapse of freight rates in the solid bulk market. The US company participated in the process of financial restructuring Premuda.
