Messina, Italy (PortSEurope) June 22, 2018 – Italian ports association Assoporti has participated in the “InvestInItaly” conference organised by the country’s government in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
With the participation, Assoporti aimed to present the Italian ports system and increase its presence on the Asian markets.
Messina port’s commissioner Antonino De Simone has presented the business opportunities that Italian ports and logistics hubs offer, while the president of Autorita’di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Orientale (AdSP – Eastern Ligurian Sea Port Authority), Federica Montaresi, described the intermodal projects under development in Italy.
“The Italian port system as a whole was presented in Seoul with all that it offers. The feedback was very positive and the Association will also be present in other similar events,” the president of Assoporti, Zeno D’Agostino, said.
