Italy’s Dario Perioli SpA Receives Cranes For New Marina Di Carrara Port Terminal

Marina di Carrara, Italy (PortSEurope) August 2, 2018 – Italian company Dario Perioli SpA has received the equipment of the new terminal at Marina di Carrara port, the president of Autorita’di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Orientale (AdSP – Eastern Ligurian Sea Port Authority), Carla Roncallo, said.

The cranes that will serve the new MDC Terminal at Marina di Carrara, each of 350 tonnes of capacity, were transported by the M / v RollDock Sky, a Dutch-flag ship specialised in the transport of heavy lifts.

The ship loaded the first crane in Antwerp on July 20, then went on to northern Spain) where on July 26 it loaded the second unit.

The first crane was unloaded July 31 and by today the second one on August 1.
