Rijeka, Croatia (PortSEurope) April 17, 2019 – DBA Group SpA, the network infrastructure telematics specialist, has signed an agreement with Rijeka port authority to install a Port Community System (PCS) at the Croatian port. The value of the order is about €1 million for activities that will last 21 months during which the entire information system will be developed and put into production allowing all
operators of the main Croatian port to be connected to each other. PORT-Line, the system that will be implemented in Rijeka, is a web-based platform for the management and automation of port processes. It will allow the sharing of information between all the actors of the Port Community, facilitating communications between the port authority, law enforcement agencies, terminal operators, customs authorities and allowing to track and exchange data and documents in real time. The Croatian company will participate in the project via subsidiary Actual IT d.d. Source: Messaggero Marittimo Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2019.
